I Want A Benelli Super Black Eagle 2
I cant wait to get mine, i might get it at the end of the summer if I am good enough. I would buy it now but I am only 17 so my dad has to buy it. Cant wait to use it this year it will get a lot of use.

The Benelli is a nice shotgun. Have you checked out a Stoeger 2000. It has the exact same design as a Benelli and is built by Benelli but built with different parts. I have one and I think it is the best shotgun I've ever had. It has claimed 4 turkeys so far and countless trap shoot wins.

as far as the Benelli goes, they're awesome. I have 4 of them including the SBE 1 and 2.

The Benelli SBE II has me interested again to look at getting one. It would be useful at times for goose hunting to have the 3 1/2. Not that it'snecessary.
I was sort of surprised that they've gone up a couple hundred from what the original SBEs were about 5 years ago. Also, the M2, the equivalent of M1 Super 90 (that I do own) has gone up in price about the same.
No doubt they are fine shotguns both.
The person who said Benelli is owned by Beretta. That's the first I've heard about that. I'm not aware. I thought Benelli was standalone. If they are part of the same company they don't seem to advertise that.
