Kahr Pistols ...Pro and Cons

RE: Kahr Pistols ...Pro and Cons
Bulxeye,
I use a Kramer horsehide IWB and (rarely) a Kramer shoulder rig with two mag pouches on the opposite side. Occasionally, they have fit nicely into various day timers as the need arose.

RE: Kahr Pistols ...Pro and Cons
OK-I thought a while on replying to this thread- and, well - you know how that ended
Ilooked real hard at the Kahr.I did more research on that gun than any others thatI own. t seemed to be the best subcompact thatI could find as far as being well built and not having a list of problems with firing. The one thing it had a problem with, was a "faulty" clip which iunderstand if you send in to Kahr they will replace.Even the customer service sounded like it was first class. The one issueI couldnt overlook was where the money from the sales of the guns were going to and what it was supporting. I made a decision that i would not buy a Kahr based on my Christian faith.

I'm not trying to start anything, i'm just just sharing. I hope this helps.

Wyzeguy9,
I read the article, but am not familiar with the church that is mentioned.
Is your objection based on something in particular about that church, or is it simply that it is not a Christian organization?
PM please if you do not wish to discuss here.
Thanks,
Bulz

Bulz, The church in the article (Unification Church) is more often referred to as "The Moonies"...a cult.Along with other things I don't believe, the Rev. Sun Myung Moon states he is The Mesiah. If you Google "Moonies" you can read more. The reason for my not purchasing the gun is because Justin Moon (the reverands son) simply stated "I am a member of the Unification Church, but I do not hold any formal positions in the church. I proudly participate and support my church and my community." Well he wont do it with my $500.I hope that answers your questionKen

RE: Kahr Pistols ...Pro and Cons
Looked at one finally yesterday..my dealer sells them as fast as he gets them in. I think they are an awesome pistol, and about the most solid pistol I have yet to pickup. I will be picking up the 40 s&W model for carry(whenever my permit comes in) . I don't even have to fire it and know its going to be a great one.

I think the Kahrsare hard to beat.
Reliable, accurate (within their scope of intended use), smooth edges, and have a flat slim profile.
Did you say Smith and Wesson 40?
What model do you like?

Enjoy.
By the way guys, it also looks like Galco has some nice holsters for the Kahrs... http://www.usgalco.com
Their on-line catalog is easily searchable by make and model, something I value highly.
