i don't think or at least i hope ya won't be disapointed. my mod 29-2 had a side plate and a foreward rearsight screw come loose. i used blue loc-tite (worked like a charm). that was i dunno how many years ago. my mod 29-3 a 4'' barrel piece had the foreward rearsight screw come loose i fixed it once many years ago fer good. both guns are excelent shooters. i have a model 19-6 thats the first DA revolver i ever had. it's not even broke in yet after over 15 years of use. the mod 29's i got have the best triggers outta all the revolvers i own. there was a brief period that S&W is reported to have had QC issues; but pinned&recessed models were made long b4 that. i hope ya enjoy yer new hogleg.
