i bought a gun when i was a kid because i wanted to play....but noone else would by a gun to play with me so i painted the backyard and such often.....they are a blast to shot...back then they were much more expensive to shoot.....now balls and everything are way cheaper....i was paying like 8 bucks for 100 count bottle..think they were 100counts...cases of 1000 were like 60-100 bucks...playing on a field was outrageous and you have to use their paint...and they jacked the prices..now everything has fallen....finally got to play my first game thursday in military class......the ROTC defnded a hill....the civillians(me and others) in the class had to attack the hill and try to take out the ROTC....us attackers all split up...we didnt know exzactly where they would be on the hill..they were supposed to be ON top of it...everyone mainly went up the face...but me and a buddy snuck around the side and went to the top....shooting at the bottom...snuck halfway down the hill...the whole ROTC is scattered about and shooting away from us....me and my buddy "killed" them all single handedly...they only gave us like 20-30 balls....i was mad about that....i was out QUICK...i felt bad for one girl..she is the highest "ranked" in the ROTC and is our "leader" i rocked her world nailing her with about 10 shots before she could get her hands up...paint was dripping off of her and she was JACKED lol..another kid said he was OUT after her...i did hit him too....but he got more balls from her...and turned around and shot my buddy..i yelled I thought u were out!?!? hes like i was OUT of ammo...my friend was giving me more ammo when he got shot.....so i yelled back im not!! and dumped a bunch on him.....it was a blast....im still kind of a kid..only 19...but i know if dad was out there with me he would had a BALL...it was fun..cant wait to go again...ill bring my own balls so i dont run out! lol.....they get the stuff FREE from the army or school.....had cases of it sitting there...and they hand us a baggie with 20 or 30 balls in it....that made me mad...but it was fun getting to blast people....and them things are just fun to shoot....if you bruise easy you may turn into a bruised turd...some people just bruise REALLY easy...if you dont have on a layer of clothing your still going to get a little bruised but nothing bad...

PS......we played with tippman 98s......they are fine starter guns....if you can find a REAL field to play the first time.....most you can show up and rent the gear...and jump in someones team or whatever....see if you like it before you buy the gear....its not THAT costly to get into...a gun....co2 or nitrogen tank...maybe a spare if you buy a little smaller lighter tank...easier to carry and lighter...i think mines like 12oz? supposed to get like 300-400shots i think?...then youll need some ammo carriers....mask..thats about all you NEED....to get started..ammo and air is cheaper now then it used to be....
