30-30 and old classic?----Agree!
Should you get both?-----Agree!
30-30 and old Relic that should be put out to pasture?------Strongly disagree! Of course I am a guy that hunts out of a tree in the woods.

As long as Marlin continues to make rifles, the 30-30 will live strong, and cleanly kill whitetail deer in the woods.
