for awhile now I have been looking at some older remington pumps and semi autos. And the more I look the more I find that they are harder to find without any extra drillings or tappings done to them. I am looking for model 760's model 742's model 8's ,81's 14's and 141's that have not been altered in any way. can someone shed some light on what a good price would be for anyone of these models in unaltered 90%++ condition. I have been seeing some prices near the $1600.00 mark and I think this is a bit too high.

A few months ago I found a 742 unaltered for about 350$. I thought it was a high price because the gun needed re-blueing and a serious cleaning. The stocks were is very good condition.

im in houston and i saw one in the paper about a week ago i think it went foe about 1000 i dont know the condition dut check chron.com for the classifieds thats the web site for our paper here
