I must be getting the bad ones. Those darn things keep shooting right on the money. Scheels had three caliber in the SPS, 270 WSM 300 WSM and 223. All priced at 399.00. To me thats a heck of a buy considering my good expierences with Big Green. I don't know what they changed from the 700 Synthetic, the stock is a bit different and a new recoil pad. I guess I read that the bolt lock thing is gone now. I didn't notice and have never used the one on the ADL's.

I hated to see that right now they don't include the 280 in their line up. They do have the 7MM-08 with the 24 inch barrel.

yeah the scope is a BSA 6-24x44. only costed me around $110 buck. kinda cheap but it does very well. With the magnification you can do a little star gazing with it as well

congratulations on the new rifle bud , i really like remingtons , they make up most of my collection , i've only had one bad one and that was really just the box magazine that had a problem ( one of the 1st mountain rifle DM's ) , anyway congratulations on the new rifle bud , may she be a tack driver

Just bought the same rifle and have had nearly the same results. If we get some decent shooting weather here I'll be able to fine tune it.

Nice rifle for the price. Only thing that sort of pisses me off is the plastic trigger guard.

it is lined with 100 gr but i think im gonna change that to 95 gr nosler ballistic tips for hunting purposes or the 95 gr remington premier accutip.
