Looking at a brand new one for $425 in .270, what all do you guys think about the price and the gun.

Is this the wood stock combo with the scope included? If so, then it aint too bad of a deal. I shoot remington, but I like savage as well. EJ

That's a great price. I just ordered a 116FLSS (lefty). Just the rifle was 450.00. I'm not real fond of the scopes Savage puts on their rifles so I ordered a Burris Fullfield II in the matte nickle finish. Everything should be here on Friday. Just in time to put the scope on and take to the range on the weekend.

Finally broke down and bought it!! Im really happy with the feel and the look, now only if i had time to sight it in.
