Thats what I am talking about. I have seen 870's for sale for 200 NIB. They pump, they work, for a workhorse, why buy your canoe gun with whats blueing left. That would be stupid. I thought you said they were on par??? Man, you ain't makin much sense.

Don't just read the words.
I do not want to sell my old beat up canoe gun.
It is way smoother than a new 870 will ever be. 870's do not have magazine cut off or thumb safety.
Remember the Remington 31? there was another smooth operating pump gun.

Hair, I don't think you understand how this works. A person wants an opinion, and we give it. You like your gun. So you vote a BPS. Good. I vote different.It doesn't mean you have to defend what you got.I don't like a thumb safety myself. You have no idea if its smoother than my 870 or my mod 12 or whatever, cause I doubt you have ever shot my guns.

One I bought because My grandad had one, then I got his when he passed and I own a Browning reproduction model 12.
Why do you ask?
IMHO good gun, not great like the Winchester 101
I also have a Browning repo Model 42
