Iam looking into buying a new or used12 gauge shot gun. i was thinking of a double barrel over/under but I also thought about a semi-automatic.I do notwant to spend more than $400. What should i buy?

$400.00 isn't much to spend on an O/U or S/S shotgun, so for that money i'd be looking for a good used semi auto... I think your chance of getting quality for that $$ will be in an used semi auto..

DM's right. $400.00 won't buy even a used decent O/U or double. You should be able to pick a decent used auto in that price range however.
