.204 ?'s
I am hearing a TON of good stuff about the new .204 caliber. I'd like to get some more info on it. Does anybody know what gun makers sell a .204?
At BassPro the other day I saw a nice one, I believe it was made by Browning, but not sure. The bolt felt real good, and it was relatively small size gave it a great overall feel. It was selling for about $565, anybody know?
Thanks!

Just make sure it feeds well in bolts. I bought my brother one last year in the 700ADL. A real tack driver, but that little cartridge doesn't feed well in that action unless the cartidges are put in just right.
I just put together a encore 204. Still can't find time to shoot it.

.204s are the best all around small game hunting rifle. you can make long shots with almost pinpoint accuracy and out here in colorado, i should know that because it's a lot easier to just sit there and wait for ground squirrels to come out at 200 yards plus. i have a ruger 10/77, nicest flat out trajectory around.

I feel as if you had a .220 swift or a .22-250 why do you need this round. I always hear that it is very accurate, so is my swift, so is my .22-250. One of my bro. in laws bought one in a ruger m-77 and it shoots great but I just dont see the point in it . Oh well thats what makes the world go round.I can still push a .22 bullet as fast as that and not get to extremes with the powder . 4200 fps 45 gr h414 40gr v-max thats smoking !!! and no pressure signs
