Default RE: i need some help.

for now i was going to use the scope and build a whole mounting system and see how well it worked (with out shooting the BB gun) then my next step was to go buy a airgun scope. it does not have the reciver cut for a scope but i wanted to try to install one for the heck of it. there thats my project. yes i must sound like to total dumb nut for doing this but oh well im looking for a challange.

all i need is a base for the the scope thats 3/8" dovetail. im trying to see what it would be made of alumnum or steel that wayy i know what to make the rest of the parts from.

im now sorry for all the confusion and embarsment ive caused. Firearm fourms are way more imformitive than the dang airgun foums ive been to. plus most people say "oh just go out and buy a new gun, etc" well that is kinda out of the picture. after bills and food aint much left of my paycheck. so i try to make do with what i get and make somethings better in my eyes.

ohwell, another project on the fast track to the trash can.

If you are just wanting to play around here is a 3/8" dovetail base you can use. No need to toss it in the trash can. I got the hook up for ya.

There are several of us on here that are gunsmiths so we just know where to find stuff like this. Brownells and Midway USA have just about everything you need concerning guns and their parts and accessories.

Post a pic of your project when you are finished.
