just saw a preview of this movie on T.V. has anyone seen this yet? it is a shot to the gun owners in the unite states. there was one part when the guy who produced it goes to ask some gun owners some questions and at the end he says. " thank you for not shooting me " is this real? i can't believe they are actually going to put these lies on the big screen.
they show one kid pull something like 8 guns out of his pockets and his waist. what is this trying to prove? abviously this guy doesn't like guns but atleast he can get his facts straight.
i would like your opinions on this and has anyone seen the preview?

He's a typical anti-gun Hollywood fruitcake. He's got a petiton circulating the country right now about gun banning. With this sniper situation, undoubtably there will be more people jumping on the left-wing liberal bus with him. It's almost election time, too. This will make a great platform for the DEM's. That's why it's crucial for everybody on this board to vote and find out who your voting for first.

A couple of weeks ago, one of the NY radio stations had this guy on the morning show. Went into all the research that was conducted and had a brainstorm. I'll go to Canada. Then he realized that in Canada there are approx. 8 million homes and 7 million guns, oops then he figured I'll look at Europe, Switzerland in particular, then found out that it's a law over there that if there is a male over the age of 21 it's required to have a firearm in the house. Then he went on to say how after months of trying to get an interview with Charleton Heston, he was out in CA and just bought a star map and went to his door. Then he tried to make it sound like CH was a racist and showing extreme signs of his ailment. Takes guts to kick a man when he's experiencing symptons of one of the worst ailments anyone can contract. What does he expect when you just show up unannounced and expect an interview.

it's a shame.. why some people just don't want to know the facts. my sister thinks the same way. she thinks getting rid of all guns will stop the problem. then i took her aside and asked her out of all the killings in my state how many of them were " legal gun owners ". she then found out the truth. i asked her why a 16 year old boy could kill someone and a law abiding citizen that is 25 cannot get one legally.
it is just a shame to see what happens when you don't grow up with guns in the home no more.

It all really boils down to the decision makers are the guys with the millions in the bank and own media outlets and contribute millions to the politicians campaigns. Look at the the numbers concerning anti hunting sentiment. The USFWS a department of the US government held a survey about public sentiment concerning hunting in the US. Their own numbers say that 77% of the US population are at least moderately supportive of hunting and another 8% are indifferent. That's 85% of the population. Yet why are so many politicians against it. Not because their constituents say so, but because the campaign contributor says so. If it wasn't for the support of the NRA Al Gore would be the President today. That is why I am a proud member of the NRA, NAHC and ANJRPC. If we don't do something to change things the money men will.

A person who thinks they can get rid of all types of firearms is a fool. A person set on buying a firearm will find a way! There are a number of things that are illegal to have but some how the criminal still have them. Cocaine, crack, meth, ect. I don't care what anyone says if a ban was put on firearms the criminal would still have them. As far as Al Gore goes, he lost is own state in the pres. elec. because of the NRA. THANK YOU NRA!

If you banned guns, people would commit murder in other ways. The mother in Texas drowned her 5 kids. OJ used a knife to do what he did, the terrorists used air planes. Some people are beaten to death or strangled. I'm sure that, if the MD/VA sniper had bought his rifle legally, they'd already have him in custody.
