I've shot lots of deer with my highly inadequete 243. My Tikka T-3 really likes 95gr Combined Technology Ballistic Tips and 100 grain Sierra Boat Tails. The Tikka has very minimal recoil, and I've had my brothers 115lb gf shooting it quite a bit, enuf in fact that I think I might lose that gun to her! LOL

Ya he was small, this was a Texas wildlife management area and they want spikes dead !. and thats all they would allow the youths to shoot, and a few doe too.This ones 1 1/2 yr old. small for sure, but for the kids its a good time. We seen some monster bucks, but could only admire them.

Again, I have to wonder why like a few months ago? Its a gun. Its shoots, if you hit the heart of an animal, it goes down? A 308, 7mm-08, 30-06, 25-06, and about two hundred more do the same thing. I guess its none of my business, but just curious why you are so obsessed.
