As for me, I would love to see a S&W 9mm or a Winchester 70 300 WSM under the tree. However as my wife wouldn't dare buy a gun, it's highly unlikely.

What do I WISH was under the tree? Well the most immediate gun that comes too mind is one I have been "fondling" at work almost daily... A-bolt White Gold Medallion 300WSM. Then we also have a VariX III4.5x14x40from Leupold in a new "custom finish" gray that matches the brushed stainless of the White Golds too a T!!!

What WILL be under the tree? Well with 3 kids10 and underyou can bet there will be ALOT of boxes with ALOT of "some assembly required". After all those lost assembly sheets and missing parts are dealt with the "best" thing under the tree will be "Mrs. Clause" in her Christmas Eve suit which is nothing more than a pair of shiny red 6" stripper heels, a red velvet thong and red velvet trimmed in white fluff bra. (With matching Santa hat of course!) So Santa is gonna be treatin his helper like a"HO HO HO" and "drivin that sleigh" for ALL Rudolph is worth!!!

So either way I guess I can't complain!!!

I am pondering the idea of getting one of these for myself for Christmas. Who cares what the wife says...... ...she has my check book too....[8D]

Really kind of far out, to heavy to carry or use as a truck gun but a nice rifle.
Sako TRG 42 in 338 Lapua

This one will make a sweet truck gun with it's short 20 inch barrel.
FN A1a SPR chambered in the classic 308 Win.

My local dealer has both in stock, I think a Leupold Mk 4 M1 LR/T 8.5x25 would be the glass for either of the 2. Maybe the 3.5x10 for the FN to make a nice compact package.

I would like a nylon stockEncore w/ a blued 300 winmag heavy barrel, a stainless 50cal barrel and stock + 3-9/40 scopes for each. . . . . . . . . . . .

Well, I guess christmass cameearly . . my dad picked upthem for a great deal in Ohio and is bringing it up for me in time for muzzle loader season. I will be getting mine in a little before Christmas. The wife done gave me theOK to buy that nice little 7mm RUM from filbinducks off of the gun site.

Now what do I need to top it with? I had thought about useing one of my 3.5x10x40 Leupolds. But, I think I want her to buy me something a little more long range than that. Something in the 30mm tube type.

Ok I know!
It isnt going to happen. So stop lauphing!!![:@]
