Just got back from the range after a 3 shot group this is what I got.

100 yards with a bag rest. Federal Power-Shock 130 grain round.

The last round I felt myself flinch. I think it will do.

Thanks. I forgot to mention that my 700 SPS is a .270 Win. That is some nice shootin'. I plan to use 150 grain jacketed soft points on my hunt. I havea few blinds I constructed of natural materials (brush) a few weeks agonext to a creek. It's about a half mile deep from a gravel road. The longest shot I will be able make is 60 yards

Nice .270... [8D] I want one too.

I found this make/model on the internet and dying to get it one of these days. With me being a lefty, I wanted a left hand bolt action model and found this:

If you want to shoot the rifle, we can meet at the range. The holder is one-of-a-kind and I don't lend it out.
