Default m1 garand

i plan on buying a Weatherby Vanguard for hunting very soon. I recently got to shoot an m1 garand and had a lot of fun with it. anyone have any idea what an M1 garand will cost new or used? The Vanguard will come first, but im just wondering for a little while down the road.

One can pick up a M1 Garand from a CMP or DCM program for about $600 or so. New ones made by Springfield Armory will cost around $1600.

i haven't checked on the cmp price in a while but that sounds about right. i did look at a springfield m1 monday and it was like $1400 without tax. i like the rifles but for the price i would about rather have an m1a national match.

Yep! After you have carried it from 7:00am to 11:00am, you will want to
toss it in the first water hole you come to.
