Bought mine for $400 when they discontinued making them. One of the best buys I ever made

Make sure you get the rifled barrel model. They came in both smooth and rifled barrels. I looked for over a year for one and ended up settling on a Mossberg 695. The 695 is a very good shooter but does nothavenear the smoothness and quality of the A-Bolt. Even the 695's are getting hard to find. Tar-Hunt makes a very nice slug gun.www.tarhunt.com/tarhunt/

Man have they gotten pricey!I beleive I was quoteing an old price for an 870 pump modification.I guess if you can't find an Abolt and want a custom built slug rifle,it's like paying for a custom built rifle.I have examined their slug guns at an outdoors show and they are well built and full of quality, but a bit to rich for me!
