I don't wear safty glasses but I wear regular glasses with the shatterproof lens. I already lost one eye so I wouldn't shoot or do almost anything without my glasses on. Had I been wearing safty glasses when I lost my right eye, I would still have it. The company I worked for at the time furnished them but I was young and dumb and indestructable back then so I course I didn't wear them. The head flew off a nail and the eye was history.. Two surgeries did no good. Had it happened now a days they may have been able to fix it but that was back in 1975.

I have to admit for a long time I didn't.I go as a guest to a range that requires them. Now I keep them with my range equipment so when I gather it up the safety glasses go to.It is a good habit to get into.I wouldn't think of not using hearing protection. Your eyes shouldn't be any different. Now hunting I don't wear either.Probably should..It might be different if I bought a good pair of shooting glasses instead of the cheap plastic ones.

Shooting glasses can look good with the right frame. I am at the point where I need to get a prescription set. A fellow shooter at works likes to drive in his for increased contrast.

There was a guy at the range today take a pair of safety glasses and place them on the target board at 25 yards. He shot at both lens with a 22 lr and should me that the bullets didn’t pass thru the lens. He then told me that he had lost a bet with a guy at work. I wouldn’t have believed if I wouldn’t have seen it with my own eyes. So safety glass do work well if used.

R.H. I thought I still had a pair of the yellow RayBans.I looked yesterday afternoon for them in my old Gun-Ho pistol case.. I faintly remember there was somethinng about them. Problem is I don't remember what it was if they broke,or Igave them to someone. I haven't seen them in years. I assumed they were still in the pistol case which they weren't.I'llhave to check into the Remington's you mentioned.I might justgo ahead and buy another pair of the yellow RayBans.I'll do a littlemore searching first.
