Default Bass Fishermen, are you ready for Spring? *Pics.*

So who here has caught a bass over 10 pds.? I sure haven't. My best bass to date is a 6 pd. 10 oz. big boy which I caught on 6 pd. test line. Here are a few bigguns' to get you pumped up for this coming up Spring.

Johnny - I have an 11 lb 9 oz fish and an 11 pound 5 oz fish on my wall (this latter is actually a replica). I caught one that was 10 1/2 lbs, several 9's and a slew of 7-8 lbs all out of Lake Fork.

And by the way, in three weeks I am going on a Saturday/Sunday trip with my uncle on Fork. My goal however, is to bring back 'dawgs and catch a 10 pound plud largemouth in Arkansas waters. I'll post pics when I get back ....

Not good pics, but pics nonetheless. My Dads was also 11 lbs 5 ounces and was caught in Lake Austell in Arkansas.

Yep, I've seen those pictures before Stealthy. Dang nice fish. I'll be doing a bunch of fishing on the private lakes around my area this year and I will also hit Lake Conroe which is exactly 5 minutes from my house. Lake Conroe is known for some big bass but you have to know where to fish, which I don't.LOL I know a few good private lakes that I have access to and one of them is right around the corner from my house. It takes me about 3 minutes to walk over to it. Two double digit bass came out of it last year. How do I know this? Because they post them on a bulletin right next to a little playground next to the lake. This lake is roughly has about 70 surface acres. I love fishing bodies of water 80 surface acres or less. I caught that 6 pd. 1 oz. bass 2 Springs ago. For some reason that day, I brought my aerator and cooler with me. I stuck that fish on in there and headed back home. I have a 1 acre pond and I put it in. It is still in there (alive). I caught it again about 8 months later and it gained 5 oz. This spring I think it will weigh close to 8 pds. Anyways, post those pics. if you get a biggun' and I'll do the same.

THANKS FOR THE PICS!! YOU GOT ME BACK INTO PRACTICE CASTING, WAITING FOR IT TO WARM UP JUST A BIT SO I CAN GO HIT MY POND AGAIN! MY BIGGEST WAS ABOUT 5.4LBS. BUT I'M ONLY 14, SO I HAVE A LONG TIME TO IMPROVE.
