RE: Trout Fishing
I like to fish for trout. Usually out west in South Dakota. I'd fish the Pactola Reservior, and canyon lake. Would catch our limit of rainbows everyday, none over a foot, good eaters though. Went fly fishing in Yellowstone, yellowstone lake I caught a 3 pound brookie, on the shore. Seen a lot of huge laker near shore.

RE: Trout Fishing
start fishing for them hard in the spring then switch over to salmon. I think this year I am going to target trout more during the summer. We did some last summer and had a riot, non of the smolt smashing hogs like we hammer in the spring but still fun. Espically when you just as liable to catch a 5 or 6 lb rainbow or a 40lb king...makes things much more interesting LOL!

The biggest trout that I've ever caught was a 11lbs 5ozs. brown trout in a reservoir out in a boat in 45feet of water near the bottom using sawbellies(live bait).Largest laker was about 8lbs.1ozs. using sawbellies.l<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
