For catching big cats, live bait rigs with minnows can be deadly, especially when the fishing pressure is high. From my experience, cut-baits, chicken liver, minnows, night crawlers and anything that smells like crap will do the trick for your average channel cat. You just need to find the right rig(s) for where you fish, experiment a little and have some fun. Try setting up a few different fishing rods, each one with a different rig...but make sure its legal, in PA you can only have two rods in the water at once. Good luck and let us know how things work out!

Cut shad, cured garlic salt liver. Take some liver set it in the sun and cover it in garlic salt, halfway through the day turn it over and do the same, it becomes tough and tastey to ol whisker face. I would like to get a good cheesedip recipe anyone got one or a dough recipe?

I use fresh cut baits or chicken hearts.

Clam Snouts work GREAT down here in the Commonwealth of VA on the Rappahannock River. Buy them frozen and let them thaw the night before so they are good and ripe. Put 'em on a circle hook and sit back. Nothing like it.
