Not fish fish but bowfish from a canoe. Easiest and quietest way to kill some big rough fish.

easiest, get a john boat or do it from shore...canoes are great when ya have a partner who cant swim LOL....when they can be ready to start doggy paddling with your bow...been there done that!!!

fished in a canoe all my life, glass lakes early morning, topwater largemouth bass!!! ohh god dont get much better than that!!! good fishing to u all!!!<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

I'm with jmac. What topwater lure do u prefer? I also like to take a canoe on some of the slow moving streams that have banks to overgrown to fish from shore. u have to have some rowing experience for this, though, especially upstream. Good Luck.

Actually, I have fished from a kayak as well. It's not very convenient, and the one fish that I did hook into dragged me halfway across the bay. It would've been about an eight lb. pike had i landed it. Oh well. I'll stick to the canoes.
