Default Question on Muskie Fishing (Spooner WI)

I am heading to Spooner WI for a little R&R next week and thought I would try for Muskie a couple days. I was wondering what color Bucktails are most popular for Muskie. I have a Chartruse one now and was wondering what else I should take. Also What time of day is best. I have done some searches on the net and havn' t seen anyone mentions color of lure yet.

Thanks

I have absolutely no experience fishing for muskie, but from what I' ve read, it seems that black is by far the most popular color.

I' m back, Thanks for the tips guys. I didn' t catch any Muskie (not like I was really trying to hard) but did have one come after my Bucktail the first day. The Bass and pike were just biting to hard to resist. Nothing huge but alot of nice 15" bass and 20" something Northern, and 1 22" Walleye my friend caught. I have a few pictures that I have developed on my website for anyone who wants to look,

Overall, a great week, Lots of Quiet, Lots of Fish, and Lots of Beer.

Thanks Again,
Chris
