yes sir..I used to white perch at night..that was a lot of fun..when they were running they got up to 13 inches..which is a nice sized white perch.
I di dthat in Maryland..they would come up in the tidal water creeks.

i landed one this weekend, nice 14 inch 2# on a wacky rigged black 5" yum dinger, lost all my 7 inchers

I caught a smallmouth last night fishing for white perch. I also lost a nice salmon right next to the bank as I had no net with me. This is the second salmon this year that I lost there. The smallmouth I never measured but did wiegh it and get a pic. My son drove up just as I caught it. So I had him get a pic for me. Here it is 2.2lbs.

try a worm, topwater, spinnerbait that has some shine or glitter in it and go and fish on a full moon. it works good for me. also throwing a regular topwater is good to do. good luck.
