Thanks Phil,
I took my advice from MTHands...He said to go to a jig..for less bites but better quality..The bite on a jig is totally weird..

It's not like the tap tap of a rubber worm..with a jig you swear you are going over gravel or glass marbles..Well, the marbles is the jig bouncing around in the bass' mouth..you don't have as much time as you do with a rubber worm..when you feel the marbles..set the hook..I was shocked..She felt like a 1 1/2 pounder and then she came life..at the boat

Can't wait till you start posting..Matt and I are going tomorrow as well.

My second jig fish...

I found a deep drop off of heavy structure..I anchored and then fished a 360 degree circle slow..it was too windy { 15MPH}to pitch and I noticed all the bedding fish on the shore were in the 2 pound range..I figured the heavy spawners were spawning on the hidden islands in the middle somewhere..in the 3 -4 foot depth..

I plan to use a jig alot now in deep heavy structure.up till then my fish were only up to 2 pounds and where I fish at has alot of big fish..Tomorrow I plan to use a jig ALOT..

The jig is diffently different..Last year I lost my first 4 fish on a jig and they were all real good fish..I used orange crayfish color with watermelon crawfish legs trailor.
