favorite lure?
whats your favorite lure and fly for trout in a creek?? mostly stockies about 14inch tops unless i catch a giant that survived a few years...i have some small kastmaster spoons gold and blue/silver...a phobe silver spoon that is the shaped of a minnow...and 14 rooster tails 1/24th oz and 1/16th oz in various colors..i like rooster tails for smallies..figured they will do good for trout too...and i will have live bait..and my fly box...i dont have many flys...a few drys a few wolly buggers...red san juan worms...muddler minnows...my own pheasant tail and hares ear nymphs..dont look great but who knows...and some other random flys i cant think of...what else would you say i need to add to my arsnol? what are some of your favorites you always seem to do good with?? thanx....i think im pretty prepared for this season....but i can always add to my arsnol...i think any real fishermen is like me and is always buying things that they could do without..but i love having them....

RE: favorite lure?
Pheasant tail nymphs, Grey Ghost Streamer, and either a Swiss Swing or CP Swing in silver. In a Lake I would go with a Blue Fox Vibrax . Or a Jointed Chartreusse Rapala, also a copper backed sutton spoon.
