Been extremely cold this year up here, so that has limited the trips. However fishing has been about normal.
Walleyes slow - 3 caught in 2 trips
Pike good as usual, 5 trips lots of action. biggest was a 42" er 2 weeks a go. Lots of 4-10 lbs and the normal hammer handles as well.
Perch is easy picking as usual. But no real jumbo' s (1/2 pound norm)
Rainbows only been out twice but both times was awesome. My buddy caught a 16 lber and my biggest was 12.5lbs. Limited out 5 fish each both times average size kept was 4lber' s. These are lake bows.
Caught 2 - 5 pound splake on the same trip.
10 - burbots caught on our last pike trip, average sized...yum,yum.
Hoping it warms up as the last 2 weeks of march usually provide great fishing for all species here.
