Default Personal Best!

Caught this bass my personal best in an old stripmine pond. I was usind an uglysik ultralite wiht 6lb. test with a vibrax roostertail i was fishing for crappie but got more than i bargained for. Took me like 5 or 6 mins. to get her up. She weighed 61/4 and was 20 inches long. Nee help figuring out the pics so i can post them

WOW!! A 20 inch bass is usually about 4 pounds..That bass must of looked like a football.

I have to agree with you Chuck and that would be quite a fat one even for small mouths....

no kidding my last 6 lbs bass was a rather stout female spewing eggs and she was just under 26 inches. A 6 lbs 20 incher must have looked something like this

Actually , that is possible..It's not the norm but it is possible. I saw a 16 pounder once in a tackle shop and it wasn't over 25 inches long..The girth was outrageous.Buffdmac's 7.1 this year was not 24 inches and it was very stout.I thnk it was around 23 "s

my last 6 lb fish was 25 inches long yet my last 5 lber was only about 20 g figure
