hmmm I have never heard it even up there with the other "top producers" like Carlyle, Rend, Coffeen, and Egypt.
IL game and fish said the same thing. I don't like the publicity it is getting myself. To many boats as it is out there.

I'm kind of shocked that they do not have a horsepower limit on it since it is only 500 acres, but from the looks of the fish you have caught they know what they are doing.

Almost half of the lake is a "no wake" zone so even on the busy weekends you can get away from the crowd to fish. However, it is starting to become very very crowded on the weekends. I try to do the majority of my fishing throughout the week. I swear the fish know when the weekend hits the bite slows down alot over the weekend.

However, it is starting to become very very crowded on the weekends.

I am glad that most the places I fish are pretty remote and only a couple of lakes get crowded this time of year! Those are the ones fishing for landlocks and then as the water warms up they are litely fished as well.

Nope Dan, unfortunately I haven't fished in WV since I moved to to IL in 03. However, I do miss the old days at Beech Fork and East Lynn with the old man.

Was on the boat Sat night catfishing late into the evening down Millers Fork at Beech Fork lake. Not bad catfishing and very relaxing as usual
