Default Gearing up

Deer hunting season is about over. I'm getting ready for the
BASS ATTACK.
Its cold and I have found a place that was flooded about 15 20 years ago. I had to cut a path dang near 30' just to get to it.
Whew weee. How sweet it is!! It has never been fished execpt by the birds. You can't even hardly get to it much less fish from the bank. But when your in there oh man, oh man.
Big 'ol stumps sticking up. Thick brush out everywhere. BASS HEAVEN. Its a little hard to move around in my 10' Lowe boat. Big honkin' trees under the water everywhere. Tough on a trolling motor. Looks like paddle and push pole. Clean, clear, clear water. See holes in the logs underwater clear. Some spot 10-15' deep.
Now what to use?
40 lb. test, stainless leader and the biggest lure I have.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
I'm gonna try EVERYTHING, got some tackle I can borrow I'll try that to?
What would you use being its cold and know they are laying up?
Can't wait!!
