Aurora Fly Reels
Buyers beware! I had 2 customers put the TRD series reels to the test on steelhead. They went through 3 reels and 2 spools in a matter of a few days. One reel did not even make it through the first fish before it locked up with a metal to metal grind. That took place back in October, I returned the reels in EARLY November for refund under the lifetime warranty........still waiting! The folks at Aurora will not even return mail

RE: Aurora Fly Reels
Hey Jerseyjoe
I was either up to my eyes in customers and did not see ya or you didn't make the Somerset show. Would like to have met you. I will be at the Parsippany Outdoor USA show Feb 9 & 10 at the PAL hall off rt 46 east and baldwin rd. Make turn at the Burger King. Come on down to see me. Look for Custom Rodsmiths Shoppe. I am in the back against the wall

RE: Aurora Fly Reels
Just to keep things on the honest side I have to report that Aurora has just shipped me 3 TRD3 reels that are the newer design. They look nice! Cant wait to see if they hold up to some Salmon River Steel! I will keep the fishing public informed.
