Travis...I wonder how many LONG LAKES there are in the country...??..
That has to be one of the most popular names for a body of water in the US and Canada I know that NY has a bunch and Ontario has a bunch, and there's probably at least a couple of dozen of them in New England...
Just pondering that........

Well I don't really know my favorite place but I see you guys have some great places.
But mine are and were:
For bass was a backwoods pond which was right near my place and I got some of nicest bass ever out that pond.
For walleye its Lake Grand Victoria in Quebec ans I also got some of the nicest northern pike of it also.
For bullhead catfishand crappiealso known as"calicos"it would be Shickshinny Lake.
For smallies it would either be Lake Onterio.
For really nice trout it would be Fishing Creek at a place called Forks where a creek called Huntington Creek comes in which isn't stock and those trout try to work there way up it at times.
So I hope that makes a few good places.

Brook fishing for native brookies is one of my favoritethings to fish. Here is a few pics of one ofthe brooks I fish early in the year. I took these yesterday but, no luck as the water was to high.

This last one shows looking down stream from the pool while standing out in the water which is the bank that I was on.
This should be all dead water here with a little current on the right as the ripps empty into the pool. Also on the right there is a spot in the pool that is 10 feet deep at low water. The trout love to lay in there and wait for food to wash down to them.
