I wanna ask can anyone think of any other thing I need? Also do I need a net? I found a very afordable(sp) one at bass pro:

Yeah, you will definately need a net. Do yourself a favor and get this as well:

Use that to hang your net to the back of yor vest. The first year I had a net i just ran the elastic wrist strap through the d-ring on the back. So I'm walking through the woods along the stream and feel this tugging at my back, the next thing I feel...BLAMMO!! The net let go of the branch that it had caught on and drove the handle into my spine right between my shoulder blades,...thought I was going to die.
