I am planning some long hunting trips but as far as fishing...I live in the heart of some fine bass fishing. I don't have to drive more than 7 miles to have pretty much my own personal lake. Some of my favorite lakes only allow 4 boats so I make a reservation every weekend. So it's like my own lake. ..and it's free.

I extended my vacation and am flying into
wilmington, nc and hook up with a friend of mine whom just so happens to be a guide/owner at "Jigs Up " in Jacksonville. I'll be doing that after fishing farm 13 and other central fla. lakes in may and june with my brother. We were going to go fish Lake ockachobee but my brother did a scouting report this past weekend and all the locks are opened and lake level is about 2 ft in depth. He said he had the prop trimmed the entire time and he watched two airboaters pull a motor boat that had ran a bottom. We mayfish toho like last year, just not sure right yet. We're also going to be doing some surf fishing between melbourne beach and sebastian inlet. We've caught shark, barracuda, whiteing and blues in that strip.
Yes, I am getting pumped.[8D]

Bobby

We are going to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons in July. It will be the trip of a lifetime. Just the thought of fishing where I can look at the Rockies, elk, bison, and all those other western critters is gettin' me cranked!
