Well actually ive never had that happen to me cause the place i usually fish there isnt anyone else that fish's it or doesnt even know about the place but the one place i do fish with other public users i just go to a different spot cause that is really all you can do or go home and try again tomorrow.

I hate fishing with a crowd unless it'swith people I know, or I'm fishing with them. Ice fishing, there's only a few spots where it's bad all the time, and unfortuneatly they're the closest to town and in the winter when I have to beg rides from people, its usually where I get dropped off. In the summer, I rarely see anybody. Me and the old man pull out the canoe and fish lakes no one else has ever heard of, and it pays off huge most of the time.

that ice fishing picture looks like it was taken at some sort of ice fishing tournament where the people are usually congested into a small bay to prevent cheating. notice there are no ice shanties, just my opinion, but i'll agree icefishing can get bad sometimes, thats y u gotta get to your spot early and put out some tip-ups and stake out ur "territory"
