Artificial Lure
I went to the lake on monday and was havin a really slow fishin day. I decided to toss out a topwater lure and on the third cast caught a small LMB. I was pretty excited, because it was the first time I've ever caught a fish on an artificial lure.

Good for you. It was small but great for a first with artificial lures. I hope you get many more and experiment with different lures. Most will work given the right circumstances.
looks like a Devil's Horse from my view.

you should be ashamed using that big ole bait and knokin that fish out
J/K man its always fun too catch'em regardless of the size, the bigger they get the more fun, and there is nothing that'll build your confidence quicker than actually catching a few on a particular bait, BTW up top is probably the most fun way to catch them
