I really didnt fish any different than I usually do. However, I did concentrate more during the mid day times, and I did take more pictures than any other previous year.

Got that right Josh.. I had to take stuff out of the tackle box to make room for 2 cameras. I carry a back up . Well, a fellow just weighed in a 9 pounder... Bloominghunter2. { Good jobBloominghunter2}It will take a wall hanger to beat him so I plan to take an aerated cooler.{ Now my boatwill be really full}Anything over 9 is going on my wall. We have plenty of bass that size where I live at. The work, is to fine places where there is less fishing pressure. That is quite a feat.

I have only fished in one tournament and I had fun. But I am not
set up for that so I decided to leave it alone. On that tournament
I tried to keep my fish a live in a coleman cooler with an airator. I
had came in to the wiegh in early as the water was rough that day.
The biggest bass died on the wiegh in. And three others survived
but took a while to come around. I do not like bass and felt bad
about it. So I gave it to my next nieghbor. The bass that died
was equal to the biggest live bass caught that day with all the
penalties added in. A photo of me and that bass is still on the wall
at the rod and gun club that sponcered the tourney. From that day forward I decided the tournaments were not for me.I know you need
to be set up for that stuff in which I am not. How ever I enjoy fishing
for all fish just about. I havecaught some big ones and small ones. But
when a friend was involved in a roll over that left him crippled from
the neck down. I could see something that told me to enjoy what I
have and can do today. I have been in Maine"s One That Didn't Get Away
Club and could have more than one time. The best thing I can say is cherish each moment you get a chance to fish as if it was your last as
one never knows. We have a lake nearby that has large mouths and I
have never fished for them so I think with the advice I recieved from you
folks here I may go give it a try. But if no luck then so what I got out
doing one of the things I like!

You see this is just something for others to follow you around and try to find where you fish and not much more than that. Friendships should last like memories for ever.

Besides spending more money on fishing equipment ;-) I did a little more bassing than I have in the past. I used less live bait this year. I've used alot of texas rigged worms which I had never done in the past. And o yeah I found a good local creek and have torn up the smallmouth on several occasions

Kyle

Hey buddy, I've been Texas rigging since 1980. I got alot of bass on that style. However....I've also been gettign alot of line twist. I just changed to this style 2 weeks ago .Carolina . It works real good because you are enticing bottom bass and suspended bass. My way is probably not perfect but I...

1. Tie on my worm hook .
2. About 14" above the worm I pinch one of those round { no clinch tabs}BB sized split shots on the line.
There it's finished. The worm just flutters along the bottom like a drowning worm. I get more hits than Texas. I fished same lure side by side with a friend .I was using Texas and he was Carolining it.He got twice as many hits...until I changed.
