Default Dose anyone else name there fishing spots.

Here are just a few of the names me and my buddies have come up with over the years-

Skunk Hole (would get skunked there now and then)

Leather Run (A few years back we found a few magazines there that were titled"Leather", yah dont ask"

Bone Yard (There was a dead deer in the woods on the trail in for a few years)

The PIN (dont know were thet came from)

The Stinkpot (This river is right on a paper mill and to be honest it stinks)

Da Stew (another thatI have no idea were it came from)

Meat Hole (we get alot of big fish out of this hole)

Sand Hole(hmmm I wonder)

The Flats (It is a longflat streatch in a river that holds lots of stealhead in the spring run)

I know there are lots more but I just cant think of any now.

What do you guys have.

1 "W" bridge (good crappie and catfish spot on a main river channel)

2 The other "W" bridge (good crappie spot on a deep river channel)

3 Camp Branch (theres camp grounds all along the penninsula)

4 Crows Creek (good catfish during spawn shallow mud flats on a good river channel)

5 The big squeeze (the only way to get in the cove is by lifting a light weight jon boat over the levy or have high water levels, some monster bass in there)

6 ******* Point (where all the 'Brothas' fish, some good crappie holes in the standing timber)

7 The spill (the main river channel leading to the dam, good deep parts great for the pre spawn for walleye)

The spillway

The 'pads( about 1 acre of lilly pads, right next to the spillway.

The church(an old church right next to the water, I know, real creative)

Most of the others are like;"over by _______ camping point", "or _______'s house", or"______'s duck blind", It's a small area, we all know each other.

All the farm ponds are ussually named according to the landowner.

******* Point (where all the 'Brothas' fish, some good crappie holes in the standing timber)
Got one of those, too

Yep, but they are all numbers, according to their gps positions

On the 3 lakes I fish for fun reguarly (3 times a week or so), I have over 350 spots charted on my Humminbird GPS/Sonar

the only ones i named are called "super secret spot" along with my lures....got a "super secret lure" to murder stocked trout...and a "super secret spinner" that kills wild trout as well as stocked......i just hate people finding out where i fish and what i catch them on! exspecially my native and wild trout waters that are hard to find on this side of the state....and i usually fish alone! if i go with friends i usually dont use the super secret baits...and noone will ever find my super secret spots from me! just how i am....too many slobs in the state...and one guy leads to another...and he leads to 10 more....and that leads to my good spots being crap....

thats why I only named off the spots on a major lake that everyone and their brothers fish no real secrets there lol. But I didnt name off my honey hole small lakes and ponds which many are public access and already have way tomuch PUBLIC there. infact one of my honey holes used to be a great place to catch bass in the 2 to 4 lbs range all day long you could catch 30 or more bass in a day. I knew just about everyone who fished there and asfar as I knew we all would practice catch and release, but the MDC must have put fyers up or set up incentives programs of some sort. The 'brothas' started showing up by the dozens then by the tens of dozens on weekends and they would keep everything even undersized fish. Where were all these 'brothas' coming from?? the nearest town is 25 miles away and its a little farm town with a population of 87, I guarentee no 'brothas' lived there..... Nowadays if you catch a bass in that 27 acre lake you are real lucky.
