avoid eating walleye???

LMAO Looks like I'll have rot gut or die of walleye ingestion overload.
I love them but I don't eat the big ones. Give me one about 18-20" and it is good and safe in my opinion.

Ever thought about where the fish come from at the fish market? I live on the Potomac River and at all boat landings there are signs warning that the fish are unsafe for human consumption more than once per week. BUT one of my best friends is a commercial fisherman and carries thousands of pounds of catfish and perch caught here to the market? Obviously the folks buying at the market don't know and are not warned about where they come from.

You are right Rebel. Anything you eat that is high in the food chain will collect all the bad stuff that has been taken in from the bait and smaller fish. Either you decide to eat the stuff or you don't. The problem is that everything that is raised or grown for consumption has the possibility of contamination. I just eat what I want and don't really dwell on it.
