Default Float tube anchor

I have just purchased a float tube. I will be using it on lakes and I was just wondering what do I use for an anchor? do they make anchors for float tubes? I have heard of people just using dumbbells, but if I just take that route, how big of a dumbbell do I use?

I take a emty bleach bottle in with me ( I walk in up to 1/2 mile with my tube down trails)and fill it 1/2 -3/4 fullwith sand and gravel , no cap needed .
It makes a great anchor that weighs next to nothing for the walk in and out .

i would get a milk jar (1 gallon). fill that with water when you get to where i want to go and then i would make sure i have pleanty of rope. you can just empty it when you want to move you tube.
