Spartan Gunworks SPR22
Whom here has looked over this gun other than on the Remington website for Spartan Gunworks. I was waiting on EAA to import them under tha Baikal name but that didn't happen.
I am aware that it is Russian made, I'm interested in the SXS 30-06 primarily, though the 45-70 has some appeal to me.
How good is the wood, blueing, and wood to metal fit? I do not expect a $3000 gun's look and fit out of a gun that can be had for around $500. But then again I don't want a bumper jack handle either.

ulysses, send Sasha a PM on this Forum, he is Russian. He might guide you in the right direction.
I would imagine that Remington would back it up, if they endorse it.
