.223, 22-250, or .243 for yotes
Hey what is the best gun for yotes im not quite sure yet i have narrowed it down to these three guns so what are all of your thoughts on these guns, and if u have any pics of shot charts for these guns that would be kool, thanks

Have you looked into a 204 Ruger? Its great, it realy does have laser like trajectory. Bullets are expensive but if you reload its not that bad. If your not looking on spending to much on ammo go with the 223. And have you looked into 223 WSSM?

You just have to face it -- there are a lot of great calibers! If you save pelts, You'll want to consider damage -- smaller = better. The .17 Rem will work. The .17 hmr is a little too weak for lang range shots.
You'll want rounds that won't exit, it you can help it. Head and chest shots are preferable.

If you don't want to save pelts the .243 ballistics are better. .223 is by far the economical choice. All are capable of a level of accuracy which will place all fault on the shooter. With that said, the .243 will be shot better in a breeze 10 times out of 10.
Iyou DO want pelts. The .223 is very capable out to 300 or so, but the 22-250 will smack 'em alittle farther and alot harder! 22-250 has a bad reputation for barrel life, but only groundhog/high, high, high volume shooters will notice this.
