I have only used Aetec and fixed power Pro-Hunter models when it comes to Simmons. They are great and have worked as well or better than any other scopes I have owned. I have a straight 6X Simmons Pro-Hunter scope on my 7600 30-06. I love it. Best light gathering scope I have ever seen for the money. I would take it anywhere without reservation.

Add me to the group that has had a problem with a Simmons 8 point. After 22 rounds through my new .308 the crosshairs suddenly went crooked. At first I thought that the scope had moved in the rings, but nope something inside is definately broken. They have another one on the way, hope this one was made on a good day.
