The mossberg is a good choice. I have a 500 that has never mal-functioned. I had a great experience with mossberg as well. When i bought the gun serveral years ago, i noticed a little rust around the screw on the barrel. I took it back to the store and they all had this rust spot. So i just took the gun home and wrote a letter to mossberg about this problem and that the store probably wasn't storing these things with care. WEll, a few days later i had a phone call from one of the VP's at mossberg and 2 new barrels in the mail free of charge. I like to tell this story because this is fantastic customer service and really says something about his company. I would never shy away from a mossberg product.
