I just bought a new Mosburg 4X4 in .300 Win Mag. It came with a bore sighted scope and a sling for $400. Mine is laminated and stainless.
First group was 4" right.....second group...1/2" right. 3rd group was PERFECT! @ 75 yards. I had 3 water jugs 100....150...200. Not any more!

Great gun for the $$ far better than the ATR!

I have a buddy in texas that had one. He sold it when tough times hit though but still claims it was the best huntng rifle he ever owned.

Those are a nice gun. But that could probably be said for any of the newer guns in that price range. Even the Remington 710 that I had shot very nice, had a great stock fit for me, but they where just made too cheap and cut too many corners. I think that all of these intro level guns have learned from Remingtons mistake of going too cheap.

The one I got has the adjustable trigger...floated barrel....all the goodies. It shoots wonderfully.
