RE: 300 ultra mag
i agree with big bulls. why do hunters buy a 30-06 and plan on shooting light loads for varmits? if you have the money to pick up two rifles by all means thats the way to go but these new rounds allow the one gun guy a lot of fexiablity in what they can hunt. there is no reason to hunt deer with a 300RUM but i know many hunters that go west every year for elk. these loads give the hunter the ability to hunt other game besides large boned animals.
while using different loads with the gun wont provide the same ballistics it allows the hunter to use the same gun back home and out west allowing them to be more comfortable with it. you sure as heck wont become more fimilar with a rifle sitting in your gun case while you take a different one for whitetails
its just an added bonus for the 300RUM shooters just like a 243 can shoot 65 gr bullets for varmits and 100 gr for deer same principal a lot more recoil

RE: 300 ultra mag
Let me say this one more time( If you purchased a REM300 ULTRA MAG ) and it's more than you can handle, please buy the reduced power ammo for the same rifle; instead of selling or hiding the rifle in a dark closet!
Now what is so hard to understand about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
