You got 2 good things going here. The 325 WSM which like all the WSMs are inherently accurate an the Savage rifle which is also noted for their out-of-the-box accuracy. This combo should be a fine outfit.

I mcan't wait to get a .325 wsm savage that has browning a-bolt engraved on the right side! I realize that savage has came a long way but for crying out loud! Browning a-bolt,from gunsmith/engineer's view(me) is about 11110% better than savage(my personal view only).

I agree that Brownings are a very well built rifle and feels as good as a woman in your hands but a Savage rifle is nothing to classify as a secondary gun. And the price is affordable.I don't know anything at all about a 325WSM but the 7mmWSM is pretty bad.

Why do you think the 7 WSM is bad? have you had any experience with it?

My personal experience with the short mags has been great. To the people who think that short mags are worthless, well #1 it has nothing to do with who makes the gun, it has to do with the person behind it and how well they can group there shots. Yes I will say that the Browning A-bolt is a great rifle but a little to pricey. I can personally say now, that the savage .325WSM is a tack driver. Savage has came a long way. I bought one 3 days ago, mounted a zeiss on it with a set of leupold rings, and the thing is AMAZING! I should have no problem dropping something out to 300yds. So toeveryone in all other forumswho thought that savage makes a bad rifle and the .325WSM was a bad choice, I will defend all aspects of that and say that it's an excellent choice if your not looking to spend the money on an A-bolt.

I like savage. But i prefer browing. To me, the A bolt is the smoothest, most comfartable, and best built gun ive had.
