It maynow be a non issue. I just read that Ruger has come out with the M77 Hawkeye which has a new LC6 trigger which Ruger says has a more crisp and easy pull. I checked out the price and they run $535. If the trigger is adjustable it would really be a feather in the cap for them. I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow to find out more.

4 of the 5 of my Timneys needed at least .015" milled off of the safety. Would you feel comfortable or have access to a Mill if you try to doit yourself and realize it came oversized? Thats one of the reasons I let my smith do it, and I work in a machine shop.

Nota gunsmith by trade but I've been working on guns for over fifty years . AllI can say is do what your comfortable with
