RE: Guns you like . Why ??
shotgun: Remington 870 Special Field 12ga. Backup is a Rossi .410 single shot with 3"chamber, great on squirrels. My 9 year old loves to shoot the Rossi.
Current favorite rifle (this changes depending on which way the wind is blowing): Remington 7600 .308 with a bushnell 3x9. The gun just fits me real well. Maybe a little heavy, but quick to the shoulder and my eye is perfectly lined up with the scope. 3 one shot offhand kills this fall. One inch groups with superx 150's out of the box. Can't wait to work up some handloads in the spring. Look out woodchucks!
Second choice rifle Win 70 .270 3x9 bushnell. Another good shooter. The stock doesn't fit me as well as the 7600.

Handguns
Revolvers- Ruger Double or Single Action: Rugged and accurate, once they "break-in" and smooth-up. Both in .357 and .44mag.,.
Pistols- Glock 9mm's: They are accurate and rugged for their weight. In .45's, series '70 Gov't models, just like 'em better than the newer ones, fit and finish etc.,. For .22 pistols Ruger MKII's and Beretta 21's; both good in accuracy and reliability for what each are designed for.
Rifles
Bolt-actions- For centerfires Older Remingtons, at least pre-safety bolt-lock ones, Sendero model in particular. Why?, one word-accurate. In .22LR bolt-actions I've come to like CZ's because they are just as accurate as some .22 target rifles I've owned.
Semi-autos- Springfield Armoury National Match M1-A, rugged design VERY accurate, great balance for off-hand shooting. Plus looks politically incorrect, which I love. In .22LR the 10/22, like many Rugers a little rough around the edges when new but the stock just seems to fit me better than most others.
Shotguns- Not much of a shotgun man but always seem to have either a Rem. 870 or 1100 12ga around the house. Again I prefer older vintage ones in good condition. Like them, 'cause they are both a dependable design. Currently have a '70's vintage 1100 set-up as a home-defense gun.
"Lord, make me fast and accurate."

I like all guns, i live for them. But some favorits would be my modle 721 30-06 remington very accurate. and my 243. winchester ha an exceptionally long barrle wich makes it very accurate. I think i like guns because i was brought up on them since the age of 6, and they are exciting to shoot, esspecially hunting when you bring down that monster buck.

I've gone through several shotguns, but the one I keep going back to is my Rem 870 I've had since I was 14. After thousands of birds its seems to be "wearing in" instead of out. What I shoot at falls more often than with any other I've shot.
Rifle: Savage 99 lever action. I think more people would love these if they'd try 'em. They were made for the old-timers and they are serious lead-slingers. Handle like like a dream. Very strong action. Accurate- I can't win a bench rest contest, but mine will drill 4 into a paper plate off-hand at 100 yds. before most bolt guns will allow a second shot. Great in the timber.
